    Today has been... interesting.

Early last night a tree decided to fall onto my house's power line. Very cool of it. So this meant I had no power, and since it was just my house I was likely to be one of the last to get it back. Because of that issue I had to do virtual assignments at the library for power and internet :((. You'd think the library would be ideal for work, but it's full of vile and disgusting children who like.. made noise and stuff. So the library wasn't great.

This morning *the power company* made an announcement that 80% of their customers who'd lost power would get it back before noon on Friday. This was **really** cool since, like I said earlier, I'd probably be one of the last to get power. So it was sounding like I'd not get power until friday at the EARLIEST. But then, *the power company* made a new announcement. They updated their previous statement to be that 80% of their customers who'd lost power would get it back before >>6PM<< on Friday. This was REEEALLY COOOOL.

So I basically gave up on getting power any time soon and just went to the library to charge my laptop and do school. My time at the library wasn't great due to the earlier mentioned vile children, but i fought on and did my work. Despite getting 6/9 correct on the english test thingy, I actually quite enjoyed it because of the fun I had answering the reflection. I'd just answered the questions like normal, except for on my explanation of one of my incorrect answers. Instead of simply reflecting on what mistakes I made and how I could improve in the future, I wrote basically an entire damn essay in this google form. I argued that my incorrect answer was, in fact, the correct answer. I fully cited my quotes and evidence and had a clear line of reasoning. It was slightly rushed though, since I needed to turn it in before 1400 :(. My next blog post, likely posted moments after this one, will be that ""essay"", so that you all can analyze my incredible use of rhetorical devices to form and support my argument.

So after my fun writing the essay, I went to bike home. But my friend from middle school was apparently messing around on the trail, so I thought I'd join him for a bit. It was quite fun, we went down some random neighborhoods that were trail-adjacent and went to a farm/park thingy. Looking at the aminals and messing around on the trail was quite enjoyable.

After that excursion I left to go back to the library, so that I could study for calculus... which I have TOTALLY DONE. So I made it to the library and set up my stuff, and texted my dad that I was back at the library. He responded saying that, apparently, we have power back already!!?!

Now. I've been out of the house since 10:00, and since this message was only because I messaged him I have NO IDEA how long there's been power at my house! For all I know, there might have been power since 11:00 and he just, never told me!?

Not angry or nothing. He was working the whole time, probably constantly in meetings. But like.. come on.

So now I'm back home, with power. Life is.. fine. Totally not procrastinating studying for the 3 day calc test that starts 1st period tmmr and makes up like 500% of my grade... nope definately not procrastinating that. Who would do that? Right?

Wow, this was quite the long post.
