note: wrote this on august 28th originally then forgot to post it, so here ya go.

so we're back in school again, great, lovely, wonderful...
it's currently day two and as i write this, i am sitting in the gym. i spent a good while working on calc 3, a little bit of notes and a bit of webassign, but it got a bit dull.

last year was really great looking back, i had a lot of classes with people that i liked, even if i didn't like the classes. there wasn't any scheduling nonsense, there was stuff to do, y'know, average school.

going into this year, i can see that i'll be very bored and probably a good bit sad in a lot of these classes.

physics c went wonderfully, we (that being tar, birb, ben, tyfye, myself, and so on) met with the new physics teacher, thusly ZG. without stating anything identifying or pii related, he's really great. new teacher, so we are literally his first ever class, but i hope that we'll be able to influence him enough that he'll remain chill.

good first class though, and i got to go to the office to talk to my counselor, which went as expected. i fixed my schedule a little bit, but got stuck with some random photography class that i thought, "oh, it'll be fine! what's the worst it could be?"

more on that later.

anyways, i got to my second class, zoology, and it went fine. i got there at the end of transition so my seating options were either in the back, pretty alone, or in the direct middle of the class next to a guy i hate.

i chose the back, obviously, and it's a little disappointing because i really like the teacher, so i hope things turn around. me and tar were also trying to take the class together, but i worry that they won't get in and it'll be full (which would suck even more). wii cope, i guess :(.

advisory was advisory, i think the previous comp sci teacher's advisory got axed so like 70% of them are now in my advisory, which is chill. a lot more full though.

for my third period, i've got english with ben and datbirbdude, which was a nice treat. i hate english and i'll probably hate the class, but having people is always nice. c lunch is an L tbh.

finally, my last class of the day, photography. oh my god, it was worse than i thought. i walked in, didn't see a single person who i know and talk to, just a bunch of random gen-ed kids.

suddenly, xolo walks in, and i'm like, ":O!"

i was so surprised, but quite happy to see them. shockingly enough, neither of us asked to take photography! first assignment she gave us was to do a "self portrait," where we make a collage with papers then take our picture and put it on that, and edit it a bit.

*TIME HAS NOW PASSED IT IS ADVISORY*

so anyways, photography sucks and i want out. ben has guitar that same period and theoretically i can switch into it, so i submitted a fourth course change request. this morning, tar got called to counseling to change their schedule, and they were at the end of the list yesterday.

i should get called back by tuesday at the latest, but if i don't, i will make my mother harass them until i get back.

either i am going to switch back into aerospace engineering, or tar is going to switch into zoology. i love zoology's teacher, but i cannot. i just can't without a person i like in there to speak to.

i went to gym this morning, it was terrible. there is not a single person in my class that i recognize, so it will be sad. and awful.

afterwards, i got to go to... capstone! woo! it's actually called research and data analysis, but i digress.

we talked about the class, i got to see teacher bro who i adore (he's so great honestly), and we started pop speeches again. basically, people went up one by one randomly to talk about their internships.

me, tar, and ben all didn't get called, i wanted to just to get it over with and so i could bitch and moan about the stupidity of my internship at times, but oh well.

that's really it for school right now. right before we got back to school, this past saturday, i fell off a bike and scraped my left knee and shoulder and it's been hurting a lot. my knee has been pretty goopy, it's whack.
