hello again homies

in my previous post, i talked a little bit about how i've been fighting with the admin team at school because they're being stupid.

this one will be a smaller post, but long story turned short for summary-

calc teacher bro left, me and a handful of others repeatedly tried to contact the counseling department for information, and received absolutely nothing until the start of august, a solid 3 weeks later. we found out taking the college class would require filling our schedules with even more useless classes, so we tried to get partial schedules or a free period. counselor said no, so i went to the principal.

principal said, "no, we don't do that unless a student has an internship, and we did tell you guys."

lies. deceits. intruths.

i responded by (politely) calling her on her shit, describing in more detail how we'd been trying to find out stuff from the beginning in mid july, and didn't hear anything until early august. also, we could get partial schedules from having college classes, and the window to apply for that closed long before we knew anything would happen with our class.

her response? she essentially said "respectfully- fuck off."

she annoted my email response, but completely missed the mark for every single point i tried to make.

we got no news about the class until early august, when we should've been informed of them having a teacher and class from the very beginning in july. she said, "i have an email from [your counselor] to you on 8/5 [saying there will be a teacher and the course will happen]."

my whole fucking point with that section was that they didn't tell us shit UNTIL THAT POINT IN TIME. if my point was "oh we heard literally nothing" then i'd be spitting lies, but i told the whole truth and she repeated what i said, acting like it meant literally anything.

then she said the only reason we had calc teacher bro to teach the class was if he could get enough people. last year, they had plenty of people, but didn't let calc teacher bro teach the class during school hours because there weren't enough, despite the way there will have been more last year than there will be taking it in person this year!

another point was that we could get partial schedules from internships AND/OR college classes, she latched onto the excuse of partials for college classes being only for if the class is during the school day, therefore our asynchronous class doesn't count, but they're still forcing us to fill out schedules to the max with useless credits?

and then she has the FUCKING AUDACITY to say "there's still the option of taking the in-school class if you so choose."

you fucking bitch. i can't wait to make your life a living hell with all my harassment when this school year begins, because i will be so in your business you will feel like i'm breathing down your neck. same with the rest of your inconsiderate useless staff members.

she has the sole authority to give out partial schedules and won't give them out for stem kids having a college class but she'll give them out willy nilly to gen ed students because some kid is "looking for a job" but if they don't get a job it's not like they'll do shit!

clearly they don't actually care about making sure partial schedules go out to the students who need them, and even if they are going with the whole "stem students need to have full schedules thing," why?? for what reason??

what do we benefit from sitting in school doing nutrition or some stupid film studies class instead of being able to work or, i don't know, DO MORE DIFFICULT COLLEGE CLASSES??

they're so dumb though, i don't understand.

i'm going to make them all regret working at this school when we finally go back. my assumption is that since i'm a student, they won't give a shit, but if my mother is harassing them, they might actually give me what i want (like a 504 plan and a schedule change) and i will not stop bothering them until i get it.

the 504 process takes a full 30 school days to start up also from the start of the school year, which makes no sense to me. you get maybe 3-4 of the admin people (principal, assistance principal, counselor, and maybe some bonus person who's relevant) to sit down with me and my parents to talk for 30 minutes about "hey this is what my therapist and doctor are recommending, make it happen."

and they're like, "oh no, having a meeting? making school easier for this struggling student? nah, kys <3"

seriously though, 30 school days?? what do they need a month and a half for?? i hope they enjoy daily emails from my mother because i will be writing daily emails from my mother's email to them.

the administration and counseling departments at our school is a total fucking joke though. i cannot imagine it being that horribly difficult to do the job they get paid to do every day.
