roh boy guys
needless to say, some stuff has gone down

i'll start with the good: my community challenge night was today, and i absolutely KILLED IT

a god amonst men you could call me, i was batting question after question hitting home runs the entire time

i was a bit nervous to start but once i got in the zone: i was in the zone. you couldnt get me out of it

inform the audience, little bit of banter and a touch of the funny, and i was on a total roll!

13 minutes in total for presentation and questions, and cartwright said we did a good job

cartwright said i did a good job :)

i'd look up and see either him or schrader standing in the back of the room/doorway, but cartwright stuck around for most of my group's and congratulated us after (he was also like, "that was an entire marathon y'all probably need a drink of water or some gatorade" and bro was right)

schrader also said i did realy good which made me quite happy, and i also saw mr lewis! i only just met him monday morning but bro is a total vibe! he's really chill i dig it

anyways, if you couldn't tell obvious now i talk about the bads:

i had my mental breakdown at nest today :,)

i've been so stressed from literally everything happening this week and fear of my project being bad or below expectations and schrader being disappointed

i was working on it at nest as was like 'i really want a hug from datbirbdude right now' so i got up and got a hug and immediately started bawling my eyes out lmao

productive cry, that's for sure, definitely needed to happen

dunno what i'd do without birb tho he's my biggest hypeman i love him :) couldn't ask for any more from him he's so sweet

like i was saying though, lots of crying but we got it done! i kind of knew what i was gonna talk about! and i went to class and i did my presentation and it was pretty mid and schrader had a lot of feedback but he also said that he was glad he gave us this challenge and we lived up to the expectations and got done what we needed to get done (i think he was trying to make me feel better since i had just told him that i had had a total breakdown and he was like "it took you 'til the end of the semester?" which in retrospect was kinda funny, but idk he's a bro)

and then we fixed stuff and i wrote a ton of stuff on cartwright's whiteboard and half of it is not legible in the slightest

i was talking so much trying to fix stuff that cartwright got sick of listening to me talk lmao

he was like "everett you're wonderful and great and one of my favorites (he did literally say that) but please stop for 3 minutes" hahaha

overall glad the whole thing is mostly over though, as birb said to me earlier i absolutely slayed that presentation and i think most of us did as well :)

still have to finish my policy paper now and send finished product to mentor but essentially over! woohoo!

what a terrible but retrospectively enjoyable experience, can't wait for z-crew's community challenge projects

(also i definitely failed the calc quarterly sections we did this morning, and i literally failed the subnetses test kahler gave us in mmpc (birb pls teach me subnets))

yeah thats the deal of the day, definitely a better post than my previous lol, cheers
