what on gods green earth is up my guys

i just had single handedly the most terrifying experience in my life just a moment ago playing skyrim
i do not do horror games
i do not do scary things

yet here i sit, in my chair, at my desk, still absolutely reeling

i decided i might as well try to get around to a few more of the cities, start seeing the quests, and so i somehow ended up in markarth or wahtever (i'm sure you know where this is going)

again, super major spoilers (poor but nonetheless)



immediately, a man murders someone in cold blood so i hit him with my warhammer and he dies
the guards? not a care in the word
i steal the dead man's things and the dead woman's house key
of course

anyways, i wander around markarth for a bit and then go into the inn
the innkeeper tells me about a witchhunter and i think absolutely nothing of it

i wander out of the inn and immediately run into the witchhunter talking about daedra or something

and i think
ABSOLUTELY
NOTHING
OF IT!

a chance for money?
sure!

so we go into the abandoned house! everything is fine! i folow the guy! and the door is locked! so we try to leave! he's like "we need back up!" and i'm like "you pussy! where are you going?????"

and then the ghost voice is like "one of you must die" so the guy is like "i'm not gonna die here! i'm gonna kill you!" so me and my housecarl kill him!
and then the ghost is like "go downstairs, deeper into the belly of the beast!!!!!!" and i'm like

what?

so i go

mouth open
eyes wide
terrified out of my mind
and this daedra ghost demon guy keeps talking
very intimidating for me

and i wander through winding tunnels
still scared

and eventually i find this horrible black demon monster alter
and he does his little spike trap

and i think i accidentally agreed to work with the devil himself
he had a terrifying mace thing
and he wanted revenge on a priest who worships belthimoth or something like that

i dont do well with names in case this post didn't make that obvious
im sorry niki (theghostwhowalks 9) for disappointing you like this
i'll try better i promise

but yeah i booked it out of there as soon as he let me go
and immediately made my way over to the shrine of talos and went to pray to god because oh my god that was awful

did i mention the excessive number of dragons that keep harassing me? also i bought a house, but that doesnt really matter because i accidentally sold my soul to the devil and he owns all of my property now!!!!!!

please somebody advise me on what to do with this markarth daedra issue!!!!! and by someone i mean niki!!!!!!!!!!
