Ahoy dear users,
I am proud to announce the addition of a new file mirror for Glitch Tech services. The mirror will be hosted out of files.glitchtech.top as an apache web server. It will support SSL encrypted downloads and be accessible through our traditional CNAME bounces. We'll be using this server as a low budget CDN for our new JS engine we've been working so hard on. Addiotionally, we'll be linking our BBS filesystem to the web, so you don't have to use telnet to grab our content anymore. Symlinks will be in place
to ensure that the material is never de-synced.
[EDIT: 10/11/2024]: files.glitchtech.top is now operating in full capacity.
[EDIT: 10/12/2024]: To clarify, this means that files hosted at this endpoint will not be subject to standard transfer credits. You will not lose or earn credits based on usage of this system. Also, there will be no secure folders at this time, although we may add them in the future. Please do not upload sensitive or protected material to GlitchNet. Use appropriate system controls for this data. Some files are access controlled through Apache at administrator discretion. If'd you'd like to make your file or content folder accessible, please contact a sysop.
If you'd like to leverage our bandwidth for hosting of your own, please email me internally or at
support@glitchtech.top, we're always happy to help our dear users.
Mod applications to start soon.
Your Sysop,
