Ahoy dear users,
Earlier yesterday, famous cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike released a bug to their users that very nearly crashed the internet. The piece of code in question contained a critical bug that was rolled out to all Windows 10 devices connected to Microsoft servers, and afflicted Windows devices 7.11 and higher. Banks could not get money. Hospitals could not get medicine. Planes could not get into the air.
And yet...
GlitchNet remained online!
Once again, the GlitchNet administration team proves that running a BBS on Debian, and Linux distro, using a release from over 10 years ago, is the absolute safest and most reliable way to operate on the internet.
