Library of Ruina (or as will be refered to: LOR) is a deck building strategy game that is uniquely not a roguelike/roguelite. It also contains a rich store and lore to it's setting, being a dystopian city that is the only bastion of human life, while still making anyone who tries to be geniunely nice crumble
and break without power to back it up. It's wonderful tale of 2 people overcoming their differences and break this mold.

The game can be very difficult, with at times confusing mechanics that may not click in your brain until much later. So while the prior statement is true, it can also being a relieving moment when you realize something previously overlooked is actually more powerful/impactful that prior thought.

Using the Greenturtle537 hard game metrics:
    Difficulty: 7/10
The game is very readable and tells you almost everything, aside from the random number generation used for various things, which depeding on how you build your deck and characters, may not even really matter.

    Time investment: 5/10
While it is ~100 hours on first playthrough, almost the entire journey is worth the effort. The story only really gets started towards it's end about 20-30% of the game though, so be warned. The stories are great building to that point still, it just may not feel as rewarding as I make it out to be.

    Technical Ability: 2/10
Only limiting factor is being able to read and critically think. I suppose depending on settings certain fights can be annoying to try to manage, but
those are usually easier fights so meh. There's no* timing in the game, so it all works out. *1 boss has a feature where planning phase is a max of 30s.
    Complexity: 10/10
The game has lots of mechanics, mainly how every clash (where 2 "attacks" are at once and how they win/lose) works. There is also plenty of plexity in trying to optimize characters later on to beat some of the hardest fights in the game. Bosses also usually have some sort of gimick that incentivizes or straight up requires you to take certain actions.

It's a hard game, with multiple difficulty spikes that at some times may feel vertical, but you'll make it through. Play it.

    please?
